Advanced Nursing Foot Care provides non-invasive treatment and recommendations for common foot concerns such as:
Thick or fungal nails
Non-infected ingrown toenails
Heel fissures
Calluses and corns
Diabetic foot care
Cost of Foot Care Visits
St. Catharines / Nearby Areas: $50 per visit
Shaver Hospital: $60 per visit + parking fees
Other Serviced Areas: $65 per visit
Additional Service:
Basic Finger Nail Care: $15 (add-on with foot care service)
Please note: NHS hospital visits are not offered at this time.
Important Information
Nurses are required to document (chart) all care provided.
All charting is confidential and shared only with permission.
Nurses (RN/RPN) work within their professional scope of practice.
Referrals will be made if care is required beyond the nurse’s scope.

What Do Foot Care Visits Include?
Basic Foot Care (PSW)
Our Basic Foot Care services are provided by trained Personal Support Workers (PSWs) for clients who are:
Not diabetic
Not taking blood thinners
Without vascular or arterial insufficiency
Services include:
Basic nail care (trimming and filing of nails — no thick nail reduction)
Basic skin care (superficial callus care — no corn treatment)
All PSWs work within their scope of practice. Any care beyond their scope will be referred to an appropriate healthcare professional with recommendations provided.
Costs
St. Catharines / Nearby Areas: $35 per visit
Other Serviced Areas: $50 per visit
(Includes Thorold South, Fonthill, Welland, Niagara Falls, Jordan, Vineland, Niagara-on-the-Lake)
Note:
Client health history must be triaged by a nurse prior to booking an appointment.
Additional Services

Basic Foot Care Aesthetics
What Do Foot Care Visits Include?
Basic Foot Care Aesthetic services are provided for clients who are:
Non-diabetic
Not taking blood thinners
Without vascular or arterial insufficiency
Services include:
Basic nail care (trimming and filing — no thick nail reduction)
Basic skin care (superficial callus care — no corn treatment)
Optional breathable nail polish application
Polish & Infection Control
Breathable Quo Base and Top Coat polishes are used to support healthy nail physiology.
Polish is poured into a single-use container and discarded after each visit.
Single-use brushes are used for safe and hygienic application.
Costs (HST Included)
St. Catharines / Thorold Areas:
PSW Basic Foot Care with Polish: $35 + $28
UV Polish Removal: $12
Other Serviced Areas (Thorold South, Fonthill, Welland, Niagara Falls, Jordan, Vineland, Niagara-on-the-Lake)
PSW Basic Foot Care with Polish: $50 + $28
UV Polish Removal: $12
Note:

Accepted Payment Methods – Residential Care
Clients may pay using the following methods:
Cash – at the time of the visit
Cheque – payable to the foot care provider
E-transfer
All payments are made directly to the foot care provider after treatment.
Note: We do not provide direct billing to extended health insurance.
Insurance Coverage
Please check with your extended health plan to confirm coverage for foot care services.
Niagara Mobile Foot Care nurses are approved providers for:
Veterans Affairs Canada
Green Shield
Blue Cross
Coverage and reimbursement are the responsibility of the insurance holder.
Additional Fees
Finger Nail Care: $15 per visit (add-on service)
Invoicing Fee: $2 per mailed document
Late Payment Fee: $5 if payment is not received within 30 days
Plus $2 for each additional mailed document
NSF Fee: Bank charges for returned cheques will be added to the balance
Please Note:
Foot care services may be paused until any outstanding balance has been settled.
